Fred W. Kruse, 76, of Chesterfield, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Aug. 13, 1929, in St. Louis, son of Fred George and Alice Northrup Kruse. He and Margaret M. Fuerth were married Nov. 25, 1960, in Clayton, Mo.
Mr. Kruse served in the U.S. Navy three years during the Korean Conflict.
He attended Southeast Missouri State University.
Survivors include his wife of Chesterfield; two daughters, Connie (Gene) Starks of Dwight, Ill., Valerie (Alex) Pierroutsakos of Chesterfield; a brother, John David Kruse of Germantown, Tenn; three grandchildren, Stephanie Hurley, Elaina Pierroutsakos, and Arilyn Starks; and a sister-in-law, Loretta (John) Schneider of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Incarnate Word Catholic Church, 13416 Olive Blvd. in Chesterfield.
Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis.
