ELLA C. DIEBOLD

KELSO -- Ella Caroline Diebold, 83, of Kelso, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 22, 1911, at Kelso, daughter of Alois and Eleonora Glueck Felter. She and Herman Joseph Diebold were married Feb. 16, 1942, at Kelso. He died March 28, 1984.

Diebold was owner/operator of Diebold's Orchard at Kelso and Benton. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include five sons, Joseph and David Diebold of Kelso, James Diebold of Arnold, Vincent Diebold of Jackson, Robert Diebold of Perryville; two sisters, Sister Marie Felter of Cape Girardeau, Agnes Leible of Kelso, and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City from 4-9 p.m. today. Knights of Columbus service will be at 7:30, and parish rosary at 8.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
