OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Edna Hart, 96, of McLeansboro, formerly of Olive Branch, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at Union County Nursing Home in Anna.
She was born on Aug. 15, 1903, in Jerseyville, daughter of Henry and Barbara Hagen Krueger.
She married James O. Hart on Jan. 16, 1927. He died in 1974.
She was a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church in McLeansboro.
She is survived by four sons, the Rev. James Eugene Hart of Olive Branch, Edward R. Hart of Bronte, Texas., the Rev. Richard Hart of Vienna, and Larry Hart of Livingston, Mont.; six daughters, Marcella Lance of Mount Vernon, Marcia Dee Moore of Carrolton, Ga., Shirley Lee and Donna Haas, both of McLeansboro, Joyce Ewing of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Linda Tromner of Lincoln,; 19 grandchildren; and a stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, four brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Mark Lee and Richard Hart officiating.
Burial will be in Blooming Grove Cemetery in McLeansboro.
