Donald Charles Rasche, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 16, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born April 11, 1935, at Cape Girardeau, son of Leo A. and Louise Wadlow Rasche. He and Margaret Ann Cleland were married April 6, 1956, at Cape Girar-deau.
Rasche had been an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Cape Central High School in 195, and Southeast Missouri State University in 1957. He served five years in the Navy and was a graduate of officer training school in Newport, R.I., and a lay chaplain on the USS Guardian.
He was vice president of First Federal Savings & Loan for 26 years and former chief financial officer for Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau.
Rasche had been a member of the Rotary Club. He was an elder, trustee and treasurer of Cape Bible Chapel, where he was most currently serving in the tape ministry and welcome center. He was a former elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Evangelical Free Church and a former founding elder of Christ Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Mark D. Rasche of San Diego, Calif., Christopher K. Rasche of Rogers, Ark., and Darren R. Rasche of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Shirley Morgan of Roxboro, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at Cape Bible Chapel from 4-7 p.m. Monday.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cape Bible Chapel. The Rev. Dan Greene will officiate.
