Darlene E. Petzoldt, 63, of Jackson passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, near her home.

She was born Oct. 10, 1956, in Cape Girardeau to George and Mary Seyer Terry.

Darlene was a 1975 graduate of Jackson High School. She worked at MSS Arabians and Havco, and then 19 years at Procter & Gamble, retiring in December 2018.

In her spare time, she enjoyed riding horses, four-wheelers and motorcycles, and fishing.

Loving survivors include three daughters, Denise (Doug) Mayfield of Millersville, Jennifer (Andy) Baranovic of Red Lodge, Montana, and Kimberly (Pedro) Minakata of Jackson; her mother, Mary Terry of Jackson; four grandchildren, Leslie Mayfield of Chaffee, Missouri, Rachel Mayfield (John Shelton) of North Chesterfield, Virginia, and Sam and Kelsey Minakata of Jackson; a great-grandson, Cade Shelton of North Chesterfield; five siblings, Jerris Ann Bryant of Tybee Island, Georgia, Gregory (Connie) Terry of Grassy, Missouri, Mark (Tina) Terry of Oak Ridge, Angela Brune of Jackson and David (Donna) Terry of Jackson; and her former husband, Larry Kelley of Daisy.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Terry; an infant brother, Christopher Terry; and her former husband, James Lehmann.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will follow at McLain Chapel Cemetery in Oriole.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
