EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for C.S. Kirkindall of Jonesboro, Ark., was held May 23 at Langford Funeral Home in Jonesboro. The Rev. Fred Houstein officiated, with burial in a Jonesboro cemetery.
Kirkindall, 80, died Friday, May 22, 1992, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 10, 1912, in East Prairie, son of Charles and Della Kirkindall.
Kirkindall was a retired brakeman with Cotton Belt Railroad. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Jonesboro Amateur Radio Club, and United Transportation Union.
Survivors include his wife, Muriel; a son, Howard Kirkindall of Jonesboro; two daughters, Marilyn Brown of Little Rock, Ark., Beverly Russell of North Little Rock, Ark.; a sister, Nora Myers of East Prairie; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
