CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Celina Roy, 73, of Chaffee was lovingly surrounded by her family as her guardian angel took her to the heavenly father Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau. To the end of her life she continued to smile and offer comfort to everyone. Her sky blue eyes compassionately offered love to anyone, and she accepted it in return like it was a precious gem.

Celina was born May 10, 1940, in New York to the late John and Florence Myers Piskura. She married Howard Roy on Oct. 2, 1965, in Perryville, Mo. He preceded her in death Jan. 26, 1983.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and daughters of St. Ambrose in Chaffee.

She is survived by a son, Ronnie Roy of Oak Ridge; two daughters, Lisa (Kenny) Enderle of Scott City and Michelle (Terry) Eftink of Oran, Mo.; two brothers, Johnny (Grace) Piskura of Zephyrhills, Fla., and James McKlin of Ste. Genevieve; five grandchildren, Patricia, Amy, Kara, Kyle and Michael Eftink; two step-grandchildren, Casey Stewart and Jody Enderle; and four great-grandchildren, Summer, Jordan, Jackson Lee and Ella Enderle.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Celina enjoyed sewing and embroidering. She handmade quilts for each of her grandchildren. She was very passionate about baby-sitting her grandchildren, and she was always waiting on her front porch for them to arrive no matter how hot or cold it was outside.

She always sent out cards for family and friends on all special occasions.
