Alice Louise Hesse, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Dec. 20, 1917, in Hannibal, Mo., daughter of Bert and Olive Erfurdt Teague. She and Albert C. Hesse were married Oct. 30, 1933, in St. Louis. He died Jan. 14, 1989.
She was owner and operator of a restaurant in Arnold, Mo., for 10 years and a clothing store, Second Time Around, in DeSoto, Mo. She retired in 1999 and moved to Cape Girardeau in 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Donald Hesse of Cape Girardeau, Albert James Hesse of Ocala, Fla.; three sisters, Frances Bohnert of Dittmer, Mo., Olga Kinnomin, Youlanda Gilreath of Mexico, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Hillsboro, Mo. Ford & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
