United Way distributes 2005 campaign contributions
Last week the United Way of Southeast Missouri Board of Directors approved the following initial allocations of funds:

* Bollinger County Schools Fund Emergency Services, $3,847.00
* Boy Scouts Scouting, $40,000.00
* Boys and Girls Club Youth Programs, $33,000.00
* Cancer Patient Care Southeast Missouri Hospital, $9,043.00
* Saint Francis Medical Center, $9,043.00
* Cape Co. 4-H Camp Program, $4,000.00
* Cape Public School Children's Fund Emergency Services,
$12,775.00
* Cape Senior Center Nutrition Program, $15,600.00
* CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Juvenile Child Advocacy,
$17,000.00
* First Call For Help Info & Referral Network, $23,100.00
* Girl Scouts of Otahki Council Alternative Membership, $25,000.00
* Contemporary Issues, $22,000.00
* Habitat For Humanity Single Family Homes, $20,000.00

* SEMO Network Against Sexual Violence Counseling, $17,500.00

The United Way of Southeast Missouri also maintains an Emergency Set Aside Fund, which has recently been used to aid Hurricane victims living in the area.
