ST. LOUIS -- A 2,500-member kickball league has been booted from a St. Louis park after complaints of drinking, public urination and nudity.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the city revoked the permit this week for the BigBalls Kickball league to play at Tower Grove Park.

Park director John Karel called the league a "drinking club" whose members were disrespectful to park rangers.

Kickball league president Ted McClusky says the real problem is that games were moved to a different part of the park, and neighbors don't like the extra traffic on their street.

The league has been playing in the park since 2007.
