'SECOND FRIDAY' COFFEE PLANNED

Chuck Howell, president and CEO of Corporate Airlines (Trans World Express) will be guest speaker at the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce Coffee Friday.

The regular "First Friday" Coffee was postponed last week .

Corporate Airlines, a private company with headquarters in Smyrna, Tennessee, started operations in December of 1996.

The airline currently flies a schedule of 104 flights a day including service between Cape Girardeau Regional Airport and St. Louis. The company also provides service between St. Louis and six destinations a a regional partner with Trans World Airlines.

Trans World Airlines, Inc. announced in January that it has reached an agreement with American Airlines, Inc. a subsidiary of AMR Corporation, in which American will acquire all of TWA's assets. The asset purchase agreement includes TWA's jet aircraft as well as numerous routes and gates throughout the TWA system.
