A section of Route B in Cape Girardeau County will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today while MoDOT crews replace drainage pipe beneath the road, according to a news release from the transportation agency. The section is eight-tenths of a mile north of Highway 72, between county roads 462 and 469.
A section of U.S. 61 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today while crews perform shoulder repairs in the northbound and southbound lanes. Work will continue during the same hours Thursday. The section of road is from the Interstate 55 ramp to the Jackson city limits.
Work will continue on U.S. 60 from I-55 to U.S. 61 in New Madrid and Scott counties, reducing that road to one lane through 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Concrete repairs will also continue on Interstate 57 in Scott and Mississippi counties through 5 p.m. May 6. The northbound lanes will be reduced from I-55 to Route B at Bertrand.
