The Cape Girardeau Public Library will host a special quilting program for quilters and collectors at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Bonnie Windisch and Madeline Gieselman will discuss restoration and preservation of old quilts and will share techniques in treating the antiques. Everyone is invited to bring an old family quilt to share with the group.
Windlisch is president of the River Heritage Quilt Guild and Gieselman is the guild's special projects chairperson.
The program is free and open to the public. Accommodations for patrons with disabilities will be made upon request.
