Cape Girardeau native Kevin Probst, whose stage name is Kevin King, will appear on Music City Monday night on the country music cable station TNN.

He has appeared on the show -- formerly known as Nashville Now -- numerous times. He works as a professional magician, comedian and singer.

Lorie Ann Crook and Charlie Chase are hosts of the TNN show.

Probst lives in Nashville and has worked as professional entertainer for more than 20 years. He began working as a magician and graduate added comedy to his act. He also started singing professional within the last few years.

He has opened acts for a number of country celebrities, including Marie Osmond and Chet Atkins. He has also performed on a regular basis at the Boots Randolph Club in Nashville.

He is the son of Ed and Louise Probst of Cape Girardeau, and is a graduate of Cape Central High School.
