Area McDonald's restaurants and the Southeast Missourian will be giving away three complete sets of Teenie Beanie Babies in a drawing contest.

The contest begins today and runs two weeks.

Only children may enter. One complete set will be awarded in the following categories:

Ages 4-6

Ages 7-9

Ages 10-12

Children are asked to draw their favorite Ty Beanie Baby. The most creative and unique drawings will be chosen by a panel of impartial judges. Any materials may be used to create the drawing.

Entries must be limited to an 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper. An official entry blank must be attached to the back of the drawing.

The form is available on this page and will be republished in the newspaper on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Entry forms are also available free of charge at the main Southeast Missourian office at 301 Broadway. No reproductions of the form will be allowed.

Entries must be mailed to the Southeast Missourian: Teenie Beanie Baby Contest, Box 699, Cape Girardeau, Mo., 63701 or dropped off at 301 Broadway.

Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. Friday, June 5. Any late entries will be disqualified.

The winners will be announced in the Tuesday, June 9 edition of the Southeast Missourian.

The contest is not open to families of Concord Publishing House employees or its subsidiaries.
