Work by Missouri artists who live within 75 miles of Cape Girardeau will be on display at Gallery 100 beginning today.
The Southeast Missouri Juried Art Show will open with a reception and awards ceremony from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the gallery, located at 100 Broadway.
The entries include oil and acrylic paintings, drawings, mixed media collages and laser prints.
Cape Girardeau artist James V. Parker will jury the show. Parker is a founding member of the Arizona Watercolor Society and was the founding director of the Southeast Missouri State University Museum and Gallery until his retirement.
The exhibit will be on display through April 23. The gallery is open to the public from 1-4 p.m. weekdays.
