Fruitland Wesley United Methodist Church on Sunday will celebrate its 50th anniversary in ministry to the community.
The church was formed in 1964 from the merger of the Fairview Methodist and McClain's Chapel Methodist churches and has continued to provide ministries to people in the area.
The schedule for Sunday's activities are Sunday school at 9 a.m., worship at 10:30 a.m., potluck dinner at noon, a gathering at 1:30 p.m. and service of celebration and sharing at 2 p.m.
