Disaster preparedness
workshop set Tuesday
JACKSON -- A disaster preparedness workshop for home and center child-care providers, early-childhood teachers, students and parents will be held Tuesday in Jackson.
The workshop will be held at 7 p.m. at The Gingerbread House, 608 Rosamund.
Brian Miller, Cape Girardeau County emergency preparedness director, will discuss planing for emergencies such as earthquakes, flooding and fires.
The workshop is sponsored by the Workshop on Wheels program of the human environmental studies department at Southeast Missouri State University and the Area Licensed Providers Association.
