Team approach to diabetes care will be the topic of a free diabetes education program Thursday at St. Francis Medical Center's Health and Education Center.
The program, sponsored by Southeast Missouri Hospital and St. Francis medical Center, will begin at 7 p.m. It is the eighth in a continuing series of diabetes education programs sponsored by the Cape Girardeau hospitals.
The meeting will include a question-answer session between participants and a panel consisting of a physician, dietitian, pharmacist, diabetes nurse educator and patients with diabetes. Winners of the recent Living With Diabetes essay contest for children will be recognized and their awards will be presented.
