The Depressive and Manic Depressive Association will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at St. Francis Medical Center's education department.
The guest speaker is Jack Stokes, assistant professor at Southeast Missouri State University, who will speak about assertiveness.
The meeting is free and open to the public.

Three area blood drives are scheduled for October by the American Red Cross.
On Oct. 2 from 8 to 11:30 a.m., a drive will be held at the Cape Naval Reserve Center, 2530 Marie Louise.
On Oct. 3, a drive is planned at the Zalma High School cafeteria from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.
On Oct. 6, a drive will be held at the Scott City Knights of Columbus from 2 to 6:30 p.m.
