A Cape Girardeau woman was injured Saturday morning when the car she was driving ran off the road on Highway 34, four miles west of Glen Allen.

Marsha Williams, 28, was injured when she failed to make a turn on the highway and ran off the roadway, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.

Williams sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

In another accident, occurring at 3:25 a.m. Friday, James Brazil, 35, of Midlothian, Ill., was injured when his car ran into the back of a tractor trailer, the patrol said.

The accident occurred on Interstate 55, a mile north of Fruitland.

Also injured was Clifford Emery, 47, of San Angelo, Texas, the driver of the truck. Both men were treated for minor injuries at St. Francis Medical Center.
