Cape Girardeau Police are investigating a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle that left one person injured, said Cpl. Adam Glueck, spokesman for the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the corner of Independence and North Frederick Street, and involved a motorcycle, Glueck said.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Glueck said.
Preliminary reports indicate the driver of the car may have ran the stop sign at the intersection and struck the motorcycle.
The driver, who was uninjured, was the only occupant of the car, Glueck said.
