Cape Girardeau intersection to permanently close starting Thursday

The intersection of Highway 177 (Big Bend Road) and Timon Way in Cape Girardeau will be closed starting Thursday, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation. Crews are creating a turnaround on Timon Way. Once it is created there will be no access to Timon Way from Highway 177. The closure is being done to increase safety on the road, MoDOT said.
