Denied a special use permit to Agan Alkan for the purpose of operating a motorcycle dealership and placing a business sign at 2605-2607 Themis Street.
Approved a lease/purchase agreement to buy a fire truck and a fire department command vehicle. Lease terms include $356,000 for the purchase of the fire truck and $44,000 for the purchase of a fire department command vehicle, to be repaid over 10 years and seven years, respectively.Resolutions
Approved an agreement with the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency to update and revise the city's emergency operations plan.
Executed an agreement with the Grow America Fund Inc., for the establishment of the "Grow Missouri Fund" that will provide low-interest loans to small businesses.
Authorized an application with the Missouri Transportation Department for public transit funds for the taxi coupon program.
Accepted a proposal from Brotcke Well & Pump Inc., to perform a hydrologic engineering study for the city of Cape Girardeau including construction of two wells north of the Cape Rock Water Treatment Plant at a cost not to exceed $238,750.
