FRUITLAND, Mo. -- Fruitland Livestock Auction Wednesday. Receipts, 753; last week, 360, last year, 762. Compared to last week feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00-5.00 higher.
Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 2.00 higher and bulls sold steady. Demand moderate and supply light. Cowed made up approximately 10 percent of the run, feeders 90 percent. Steers made up approximately 46 percent of the offering, 54 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs.. totaled around 24 percent.
