For 120 years, The Bank of Missouri has met its customers' needs with the assurance that it would be there tomorrow. Founded in Perryville as The Bank of Perryville in 1891, The Bank of Missouri has grown to reach out beyond its Southeast Missouri roots to provide multiple locations in Cape Girardeau, Perryville and Jackson, as well as branches in Marble Hill, Columbia, Springfield, Republic and Ozark, Mo.

The Bank of Missouri offers traditional banking products and services, such as checking, savings, loans and investments. They also offer full-service brokerage and a Bank of Missouri Investments and Retirement Planning division, as well as a title company and insurance company. This "one-stop-shop" makes it easy for customers' needs to be met quickly and efficiently.

The Bank of Missouri is headed by R. David Crader, CEO, and John M. Thompson, president.

"We are 'Main Street,' not Wall Street," Thompson said. "We continue to strive to be your hometown bank, investing back into the communities we are so honored to serve."

Investing in the communities they serve is more than just talk. The Bank of Missouri has an especially strong commitment to local schools and education, and awards scholarships to local high school students, among other donations and support structures locally and regionally.

The Bank of Missouri not only develops more banking locations across the state, but strives to keep the other aspects of day to day business local as well.

In June of 2010, part of The Bank of Missouri's growth was jumpstarted with a groundbreaking for a new data processing center. The new 51,000-square-foot facility is next to their North Kingshighway branch in Perryville, and is expected to be completed in early summer.

The new data processing center will house approximately 60 current employees and offers growth potential. The state-of-the-art center will allow The Bank of Missouri to continue to process all transactions and statements within their own banking system, keeping the work local and continuing to employ the very people they serve.
