WIB, formerly Southeast Missouri Private Industry Council (PIC), administers federal and state funds aimed at job-training and job-related programs, including transportation programs designed to enable workers to get to jobs throughout 13 counties.

Other WIB board members include Betty Hearnes of Charleston, Terri Todd of Kennett, Marc Massengale of Marble Hill, Joe Anders of Cape Girardeau, Glenn Graham of Perryville, Bill Neel of Sikeston and Marion Bock of New Madrid.
