Karen Brobeck has been promoted to vice president of client services for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Missouri.
Brobeck has served as site manager for the Cape Girar-deau office the past three years.
In her new role, Brobeck will be responsible for the company's enrollment services, membership and billing. She will also be responsible for the company's client services centers and claims operations for the local business in the St. Louis, Cape Girardeau and Springfield offices these offices process about 631,000 claims a month.
Brobeck has been with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Missouri since 1984. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting form Illinois State University and is a certified health insurance associate.
