Dr. Randy G. Brown recently returned to Southeast Missouri to join Cardiac and Vascular Surgeons.
Brown, originally of Perryville, has been in private practice in Kansas City, Mo. since 1996.
Brown earned a baccalaureate degree in biology and a medical degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, through its combined bachelor's, doctor of medicine six-year program.
He complete a general surgery internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Services Center in Tulsa. He then continued his training with a cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Southern California before returning to practice at Kansas City.
He holds board certification with the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the Missouri State Medical Association.
