Dr. Bernard Burns, medical director of Rehabilitation Services at St. Francis Medical Center, and Dale Rauh, director of rehabilitation service at St. Francis, presented seminar topics at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in San Francisco recently.
The meeting was held in conjunction with the American Hospital Association's Section for Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation Member Forum.
Burns discussed the benefits and drawbacks of small city practice, and Rauh discussed surviving the small city environment.
