Robert B. Hendrix of Cape Girardeau has joined AmeriFirst Bank's Advisory Board.
Hendrix has been president of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce since June 1972. He will retire as president later this year.
He was instrumental in building one of the state's strongest chambers over the past 21 years, and has overseen a number of community accomplishments in the recruitment of new businesses and industry.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has worked in the public relations field, most recently at Dana Corporation's corporate office in Toledo, Ohio, and at Southeast Missouri State University.

JACKSON Sue Newman has joined Loradon at 109 N. Missouri in Jackson.
Newman, who has 26 years of experience as a beautician, joined Loradon in July. She worked at the Style Stop in Jackson for one year. She formerly lived in Michigan.

Cheryl Ketelsen was recently appointed customer service officer of First National Bank of Cape Girardeau. She also will serve as branch manager of the new facility in Doctors' Park, which is scheduled to open in late summer.
An Iowa native and graduate of Iowa State University, Ketelsen brings several years of experience to the position. She most recently served as a real-estate loan officer at a local financial institution.
Ketelsen is an active member of Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, Excelsior Optimists and P.E.O. and has served on the Riverfest Committee.
