Thomas M. Meyer of Thomas L. Meyer Real Estate and Insurance, 1995 president of the Missouri Association of Realtors, will be guest speaker at Tuesday's meeting of the Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors.
The meeting will be held at Wayside Smorgasbord, Highway 61 East, Jackson, at 8:30 a.m.
Meyer was installed president during the annual MAR Convention at Springfield this month.

Steven Engles, president and general manager of the company, announced the appointment.
Graham joins KBSI-TV as program director. She previously served in a similar position at WYZZ-TV FOX affiliate in Peoria, Ill. Graham lives in Oak Ridge.
Hollerbach joins the stations as retail marketing manager. She previous served as West Park Mall's assistant center manager and marketing director two years. Prior to moving to Cape Girardeau, she worked for Busch Creative Services in St. Louis. Hollerbach is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University .
Wayne Owens, a road driver for ABF Freight System Inc. out of the Cape Girardeau terminal, has been selected for the 1995 ABF Road Team.
Team members, a combination of city and road drivers, travel the country as spokesmen for the trucking industry. Qualifications for the 12-man team include a safe-driving record, leadership abilities, and concern for quality in the industry.
Owens, of Dexter, who has driven 23 years, has numerous safety awards, including the Million Mile Award. He is credited with the rescue of another driver from the St. Francis River near Fisk 25 years ago.
He is a member of the Stoddard County Civil Defense and an auxiliary policeman.
ABF, headquartered in Fort Smith, Ark., has more than 335 terminals in 50 states and offers seamless single-bill service to 125 countries.
Al Van Riehl has been named a Distinguished Fellow by the Academy of Certified Polygraphists. Riehl, of Cape Girardeau, is a polygraph examiner.
James Palen, a Cape Girardeau physician, has received the Physician's Recognition Award.
The award is presented by the Missouri State Medical Association and the American Medical Association to physicians who voluntarily complete 150 credit hours of continuing medical education courses over a three-year period.
Purpose of the award is to recognize physicians who are keeping up-to-date in their medical specialities and adding to their medical knowledge.
Jay Reisenbichler of Mid America Power has achieved master service technician status by Briggs & Stratton Corp., a Milwaukee-based engine manufacturing company.
Reisenbichler is one of 500 engine technicians in North America with the MST designation, which recognizes industry professionals who are qualified to service the entire range of Briggs & Stratton products, including its new overhead valve twin-cylinder models.
Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney Morley Swingle recently served as a member of the faculty for the 1994 Missouri Judicial College, an annual training program for trial judges.
Swingle taught a session on criminal law at the Judicial College in Kansas City, discussing new developments in criminal law in Missouri, both in the form of recent court decisions and new legislation. This marked the second consecutive year Swingle has served as a member of the Judicial College.
The Judicial College is an annual training program sponsored by the Supreme Court of Missouri. Judges are required to receive at least 15 hours of continuing legal education each year.
Susan Mills, regional nutrition specialist with the University of Missouri Extension office at Jackson, has received second-place honors in the TV feature category of the National Association of Extension Home Economists' 1994 communications awards program.
The communications awards are sponsored by the American Income Life Insurance Co., and were presented recently during the 60th annual NAEHE Conference at Wichita.
Natalie Watts and Jacob Schneider were winners of prizes during "Kid's Month" activities sponsored by the office of Cape Girardeau optometrist Dr. Gregory S. Leet.
The promotion each year stresses the importance of annual eye examinations for children.
Watts, 12, was winner of a Sony Walkman AM/FM cassette player and Schneider, 5, was winner of the Lion King package.
David W. Kemper, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Commerce Bancshares Inc., St. Louis, has been named director of Ralcorp Holdings Inc.
Ralcorp is a publicly held NYSE-traded company with approximately $1 billion in annual sales. Ralcorp was spun off by Ralston Purina Co. in March, and includes the cereal, baby food, cracker and cookie, resort and coupon redemption businesses formerly held by Ralston.
A Missourian has been elected president-elect of the Association of Small Business Development Centers, a national organization of state SBDC directors.
Max Summers, director of the Missouri Small Business Development Centers, was elected during the national meeting of the association recently in Salt Lake City, and will assume the position in October 1995.
Before joining the Missouri SBDC, Summers spent 19 years in the banking industry.
The small business development centers were created in 1980 by Congress to assist business and stimulate economic growth. The centers are housed on university and college campuses.
