Keith Latham and Bart Elliott have joined Cable Busters, which recently moved to East Cape Girardeau, Ill.

Latham of Jackson is operations manager responsible for overseeing daily operations.

Elliott of Cape Girardeau is responsible for financing Primestart installations.

David C. Prather of Anna, Ill., has joined St. Francis Medical Center as head of its accounting department.

Prather succeeds Mary Greaser, who served as the medical center's accounting director a number of years before retiring in May.

Prather, a certified public accountant, previously worked with the accounting firm of Kerber, Eck & Braeckel in Carbondale, where he was senior accountant.

He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, where he received a bachelor of science degree in accounting.

Aletha Martin, Dennis Harman, Juanita Henley, Sharon Braswell and Kenneth Trentham have joined Century 21 Ashland Realty Co., 105 S. Broadview, as sales associate

The new associates are participating in the Century 21 Plus training program.

Martin of Oak Ridge has been in real estate sales three years.

Trentham of Marble Hill entered the real estate business nine months ago. He was previously in insurance sales.

Braswell of Jackson and Henley of Cape Girardeau are newcomers to real estate, each with six weeks experience. Henley is retired from the Cape Girardeau Police Department, and Braswell was previously a receptionist for Ashland.

Harmon of Cape Girardeau has been selling real estate three months. He was formerly in insurance sales.

Ken Voepel of Cape Girardeau, an American Family Insurance Group agent, has been inducted into the company's Hall of Fame.

Voepel, of Ken Voepel Insurance, 2256 Kingsway, is one of 12 agents who earned Hall of Fame honors for 15 consecutive years. He joined American Family in 1978.

The award recognizes agents for outstanding sales, service and production in the company's 13-state operating area.

Denise Foster, a member of St. Francis Medical Center's Womancare staff, has completed certification as a mammography technician.

Foster recently passed the certification examination conducted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.

Kevin F. Britton has joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.'s Ozark agency in Springfield as an account representative.

Britton of Dexter will sell and service MetLife insurance and other financial products.

Zimmer Broadcasting received seven first-place and two honorable mention awards during the annual Missouri Broadcasters Association Awards ceremony, held at Lake of the Ozarks recently.

Kent Crider of K103 received medium market "D.J. of the Year" and Mike Legg and Brad Palmer received first-place awards for sportscasts and play-by-play.

Other individual award winners were Rick Sinclair, KSIM in Sikeston, best newscast in small market and Dave Louis, "D. J. of the Year" in a large market. The company also won first-place awards for best commercials in small and large market areas.

John Zimmer, vice president of Zimmer Broadcasting, which has 12 stations, was named incoming president of the MBA.

Laura Faye Thomas, an agent with Bankers Life and Casualty Insurance Co., recently attended a conference at Tucson, Ariz.

Thomas qualified for the convention trip based on high sales, total market and persistency.

Thomas works out of the office at 1925A William St.
