Dr. Kelly N. Smith recently attended the 145th American Veterinary Medical Association annual convention in New Orleans. Smith is an associate veterinarian at Dogwood Veterinary Hospital, 1208 W. Cape Rock Drive in Cape Girardeau.
Real estate agent attends Milwaukee conference
Tom Meyer was one of two Missouri board members of the Midwest U.S.-Japan Association to attend its recent 40th annual convention in Milwaukee. The event provides a forum for bilateral trade and investment discussion between the Midwest and Japan. Meyer, of Exit Realty-Thomas Meyer Associates, 230 N. Sprigg St. in Cape Girardeau, has been attending the conferences held in Japan for more than 10 years and is a site consultant for foreign investors and new plant interests in the Midwest, with an emphasis in Missouri.
Real estate brokers attend conference
The Mid-America Region Broker/Owner Conference for Realty Executives was recently held in Kansas City, Mo. The conference was attended by Jeff and Deb Martin, Terri Penrod and Bill and Susan Cole of Realty Executives of Cape County. Expert speakers covered topics on leadership, professional development, e-commerce, websites and marketing. The latest systems, tools and programs were discussed.
