Brian L. Eftink, vice president, legal, at Wacker Chemical Corp. in Chattanooga, Tennessee, recently was profiled in the National Law Journal. At Wacker, Eftink personally oversees 500 contracts and nondisclosure agreements with subcontractors. Eftink became Wacker's sole U.S. attorney five years ago, but since has added two staff lawyers and additional staff. Before working for Wacker, Eftink spent 10 years at the Miller & Martin law firm in Chattanooga. Eftink is the son of Mary Jane and Leon Eftink of Cape Girardeau. He is a 1992 graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended Washington University in St. Louis and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Element 74's Austin Bollinger and Toni Eftink presented a breakout session at Missouri Main Street Connections' State Revitalization Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, on July 29 and 30. Their presentation was on best digital practices. They spoke about using a great website to build a foundation for a digital presence and gave suggestions on ways to do so. They also spoke on how to drive traffic to a website using digital marketing. In addition, Eftink unveiled Missouri Main Street's new website, which was produced by Element 74. John Reith and Rebekah Corbitt managed Element 74's vendor booth, offering free digital evaluations and conversing with Main Street staff and volunteers.
