Area financial representatives honored for achievements
Leonard "Fritz" Sander Jr. and Evan Trump were honored for their professional achievements with Cornerstone Financial Group, a New England Financial firm in St. Louis. Sander and Trump's office is in Jackson. Sander was recognized as the Securities Sales Leader for 2008, the third consecutive year he has received the award. The award is given to the representative with the highest number of investment sales throughout the year. Trump received the Super Starter award that honors new advisors who have achieved a specified production level within their first quarter of service.
Insurance chapter installs officers, board members
The local chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in Cape Girardeau recently installed new officers and board members who will serve during the 2009-2010 year. New officers include Camille Bollinger, treasurer; Joe McKeon, national committeeman; Crystal Burress, secretary; Jerry Welch, board member; Brian Suchman, board member; Greg Greenwalt, vice president; Shannon Daniels, president-elect; Jim Stafford, president; Ron Lungwitz, immediate past president; Allen Phillips, board member; and Bill Brockmire, board member.
Wood and Huston Bank VP graduates from banking school
Marvin Adams Jr., vice president of Wood and Huston Bank in Cape Giradeau, earned a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. The three-year program provides courses covering all aspects of banking and economics.
