Dr. Michael Givens of Cape Girardeau now is a certified insurance consultant. Givens recently was certified by the Missouri Division of Professional Registration to perform insurance consulting and peer reviews in Missouri, a news release stated. Givens can provide independent medical exams, review documentation and ensure medical guidelines have been followed, according to the release. He has been in practice for 16 years and is certified in whiplash treatment and acupuncture. He also is certified as a Missouri Department of Transportation medical examiner.

Toktam Khatami- Nouri

Toktam Khatami-Nouri recently joined Exit Realty-Thomas Meyer Associates as a real estate agent. Khatami-Nouri grew up in Germany and holds a bachelor's degree in business economics from FH-Aachen in Germany and a master's degree in organizational management from Southeast Missouri State University. She speaks three languages, according to a news release from the realty company, including German, Farsi and English. The company is owned by Thomas M. Meyer.
