Stylist at Concepts earns certification

Amanda Abner, a hair stylist at Concepts Styling Salon in Cape Girardeau, recently received certification with Cinderella Hair Extensions. She received hands-on training with the director of education for the company. The extensions are infused to the hair with an organic protein and bonded to add length, thickness or volume. Abner has been with Concepts since it opened in October.

Jerry Terrell joins RV America sales staff

Jerry Terrell of Sikeston, Mo., has joined the staff at RV America on 600 State Route H as a salesman. Terrell has been in the recreational vehicle business for the past 10 years.

Company honors three for safe driving records

Ron Gjerstad, president of Scott City's Buchheit Trucking Service, recently recognized three drivers for their safe driving practices in the past three years and for keeping a clean driving record with the Division of Motor Vehicles. The following drivers were accepted for membership in the Missouri Motor Carrier's Association Chairman's Safe Driver Club: Larry Long, Duane Helmkamp and Rickie Harvey.

Ledbetter earns Woodmen's recognition

Ron Ledbetter of Essex, Mo., a district representative with Modern Woodmen of America, was agent of the month in the Missouri East Agency for the month of March. Ledbetter joined Modern Woodman's Rainwater Agency in Farmington, Mo., in 1991.
