Brian Noto was recognized as a certified specialist of spirits by the Society of Wine Educators, a Washington, D.C.-based organization whose mission is to advance wine and spirits education through professional development and certification. Noto was required to pass an examination posing questions about worldwide spirit producing regions, presentation styles, production methods and tasting. He is the only person in the region to have attained the certified specialist credentials for both wine and spirits.
Ken Volkerding of Jackson, a financial representative with Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, was Representative of the Month in the Missouri East Region for March. He was also named New Member Leader in the Missouri East Region in March. He joined Modern Woodmen in November 2004. Modern Woodmen is a fraternal life insurance society based in Rock Island, Ill.
Jana Jateff, future executive senior sales director with Mary Kay Cosmetics, recently announced top producers for the quarter. Chantiel Herron of Sikeston, Mo., Kay Waller of Cape Girardeau and Jateff were all honored.
Brian Criddle has started his own business, Criddle A.C. & Heating LLC in Cape Girardeau. Formerly an HVAC service technician for Ziegler Plumbing & Heating, Criddle offers sales, installation and service of HVAC equipment for residential and light commercial customers.
Saint Francis Medical Center recently announced that AWL Family Healthcare in Cape Girardeau will join the Saint Francis Family in July. The practice is led by nurse practitioners Kimberly A. Keser and Dolores J. McDowell. Keser received her master of science in nursing degree from Southeast Missouri State University and her doctor of nursing practice degree from St. Louis University. McDowell received her master of science in nursing degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis Barnes School of Nursing. AWL Family Healthcare will remain at 1435 N. Mount Auburn Road, Suite 200.
