Kevin Windham, a senior at Southeast Missouri State University, was selected into the inaugural class of FOCUS St. Louis' Impact Fellows Program.
Kayla Gaffney of The Arrow reported of those selected for the program, Windham is the only student; the others members are executives from the St. Louis area.
The program, Gaffney reported, is designed for participants to gain training and experience in change management, problem solving, systems thinking and project management.
Windham serves as secretary of the university's Black Student Union. He also is a senator for the College of Liberal Arts in Student Government Association and is an ambassador to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants announced the winners of the 2015 Elijah Watt Sells Award. Among the winners is Grant Eudy, a staff accountant at Beussink, Hey & Roe, PC.
The award is given to CPA candidates who have obtained a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination, passed all four sections of the Examination on their first attempt and completed testing in 2015.
