Shauna Hoffman joined SoutheastHEALTH and was named director of marketing.

Hoffman is a retired member of the Army National Guard and has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Mankato State University in Minnesota. She most recently served as director of marketing and health-care consultant for Stamats Communications Inc.

Hoffman is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, Sales and Marketing Executives of South Dakota, American Academy of Healthcare Executives and marketing committee member for the American Cancer Society.

George "Skip" Warpe, president of River City Biologicals in Cape Girardeau, on Friday will present a speech at the World Vaccine Manufacturers Summit in Shanghai.

River City Biologicals is a biological raw materials company that supplies animal serum. Warpe is chairman of the International Serum Industry Association.

M.A. Bell

M.A. Bell received the 2013 Mid-America Region Top 13 Agent Award from Realty Executives International. The Mid-America region includes Missouri, Kansas and Colorado. Bell also received the Platinum Executive Club Award from Realty Executives of Cape County, as well as the Pinnacle Level Award as one of the top three agent from the Cape Girardeau County Board of Realtors.

Caleb Harris

Caleb Harris, originally from Jackson, received the 2013 Elijah Watt Sells Award from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Harris works with the audit team of the BKD LLP practice in Springfield, Mo.

The award is given to individuals who obtained a cumulative average score of more than 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination. More than 94,000 individuals took the CPA examination in 2013, and 55 received the award.

Harris is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and economics/finance.
