Board-certified neurosurgeon Dr. Howard L. Smith has joined the Brain & NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri. He brings 20 years of experience to the practice. Smith graduated from medical school at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, Okla. Smith completed a general surgery internship and residency in neurosurgery at the University of Missouri at Columbia and obtained a juris doctor's degree from the Loyola University School of Law. He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Southern Pain Society, American Medical Association, Mississippi Bar Association, American College of Legal Medicine and Texas Bar Association. Smith will hold clinic on the campus of Saint Francis Medical Center.
Wiethop Truck Sales Inc. recently recognized Kim G. Rigdon for 30 years of service to the company. He received a plaque and gift card. Rigdon serves as the office manager and assistant corporate secretary.
Capaha Bank recently welcomed Bill Yuede and Jessica Espinoza to its staff. Yuede is the new vice president/credit administration manager. Espinoza is a new credit analyst.
Bill Duffy has been named senior vice president-investment officer by Wells Fargo Advisors for the fifth consecutive year. Duffy has been a financial adviser with Wells Fargo for 11 years. Previously, he was the vice president for finance and treasurer at Southeast Missouri State University. He has a bachelor of arts in accounting from Loras College, a master of business administration from Southern Illinois University, and is certified financial planner professional.
