Voices for Children/CASA of Southeast Missouri announced the retirement of Linda Clark Nash as executive director, effective March 31. Nash has been with the agency for eight and a half years.

Before working for CASA, she wrote and administered Teaching American History grants for the Jackson School District and taught history at Jackson High School for a combined 35 years.

Lynette Halter has been named partner at H&R Block in Jackson and Marble Hill, Missouri, according to a recent news release. Halter has been an associate with the firm for the past 25 years, concentrating her practice in personal and business tax returns and planning. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and is a licensed enrolled agent.

H&R Block has been serving clients across Cape Girardeau and Bollinger counties from the Jackson office since 1978 and from Marble Hill since 1995.

Baxter R. Hoover has joined Enterprise Bank & Trust as a mortgage loan officer. He will assist existing bank customers and market to new customers to help them make financial decisions involving home mortgages. Hoover has been involved in banking and lending for more than 25 years and has lived most of his life in Southeast Missouri. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas. He volunteers his time with several area charities and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, family and friends.
