Trade association Southeast Missouri Realtors named a new board of directors, including Brandy Balsman, Jan McClanahan, Lois Long, Beth McFerron, Melissa Whitaker, Shari McConnell, Becky Buehler and past president David Soto.
Soto also was named Realtor of the Year for his work in the organization and for his work over the past 15 years as a licensed real-estate agent.
Barbara Travers was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for her 35 years of service in the industry. Travers works at Realty One Associates in Jackson.

Teresa Rueck of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, celebrated 30 years of service at First Midwest Bank in Poplar Bluff.
"Working for First Midwest is like working with family," Rueck said in a news release. "They really care about their employees. It's easy to do good work when you work with good people."
Since 2007, she has served as loan officer and vice president at First Midwest Bank.
Dale Dickerson, executive vice president of First Midwest Bank of Poplar Bluff commended Rueck for her dedication.
"Her willingness to go above and beyond for the customer and to do so with kindness exemplifies what First Midwest is all about," he said.

Danielle Alspaugh will serve as chief operating officer for Innovative Financial Services.
She previously worked at Southeast Missouri State University -- where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees -- and most recently was director of human resources for SoutheastHEALTH for nearly six years.
At Innovative Financial Services, Alspaugh joins her husband, Brock Alspaugh, who is the company's CEO and owner.
