Personal Finance Co. names new manager

Personal Finance Co. has announced the appointment of Larryn Coleman as branch manager of the Cape Girardeau office at 211A S. Kingshighway. Coleman has been with PFC since May 2001 and transferred from the Washington, Ind., branch. Personal Finance Co. specializes in consumer installment loans and retail financing and is a subsidiary of Minnesota Life Insurance Co.

Finch-Marchbanks hires two sales specialists

Finch-Marchbanks Insurance Consultants in Cape Girardeau has hired two individual sales specialists, Mike Grunloh and Kim Beggs. Grunloh specializes in individual retirement planning. Beggs works with individuals and their health insurance needs.

Angus association adds junior member

Morgan Bangert of Jackson is a new junior member of the American Angus Association. Junior members of the Association are eligible to register cattle in the American Angus Association, participate in programs conducted by the National Junior Angus Association and take part in Association sponsored shows and other national and regional events. The American Angus Association is the largest beef registry association in the world, with more than 34,000 active adult and junior members.

Jones associates accept partnership offers

Four Edward Jones associates in Cape Girardeau have accepted limited partnership offerings in The Jones Financial Cos., the holding company for the St. Louis-based financial-services firm: Joseph J. Domian, financial adviser; Donna J. Domian, financial adviser; Judith A. Dissen, senior branch office administrator; and Donna S. Buehrle, branch office administrator. Under the company's current partnership offering, 12,000 associates received initial limited partnership offerings and were invited to increase their existing ownership in the firm.

Area stylists attend symposium in Las Vegas

Owner Danea Johnson, Kelley Callow, Amanda Abner and Carrie Myers of Concepts Styling Salon recently attended the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas. They and 12,000 other stylists were exposed to in-depth training on color, the latest trends in hair design and upcoming trends.
