Doelling joins Saint Francis

Paul M. Doelling has been named director of specialty practices in medical affairs at Saint Francis Medical Center. In this role, Doelling will be responsible for fostering, developing and facilitating the improvement of some of the medical center's specialty physician practices. He reports to Dr. James A. Schell, vice president of medical affairs. Doelling most recently served as the director of specialty practices at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Ill. Doelling earned a master of health care administration from St. Louis University. He is a certified medical practice executive and has served as president of the Greater St. Louis Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. In 2009, he received the Better Performers Award from the Medical Group Management Association for accounts receivable and patient satisfaction.

Fowler promoted at Alliance

Lori Fowler has been appointed vice president of commercial loans at Alliance Bank in Cape Girardeau by Cord Polen, president and CEO. Fowler has been with Alliance Bank since 2008 working in a risk management role as its internal auditor, compliance and loan review officer. She has more than 20 years of banking experience, most of which was in executive positions, including as a senior commercial lender. Fowler holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from University of Missouri-Columbia and a master's of business administration from William Woods University. Fowler also is a graduate of the LSU Graduate School of Banking.

Toole passes Virginia bar exam

Meredith Toole has been admitted to the Bar Association in Virginia. A 2003 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School, she received her juris doctorate degree from Duke University School of Law in May. She also holds a bachelor of arts degree from Vanderbilt University. Toole resides in Washington, D.C., where she is employed as a trial lawyer for the U.S. Department of Justice in the Civil Fraud Division. She is the daughter of Adrian and Jamie Toole of Cape Girardeau.

Martin buys Stereo One store

Jeff Martin general manager of Stereo One in Carbondale, Ill., has acquired the business from its corporate owners in Cape Girardeau. "I am very pleased that Jeff, and his wife, Michelle, are the new owners," Stereo One president John Selby said. "Jeff has been the pinnacle of Stereo One customer service and has definitely deserved the right to pursue his own destiny. Stereo One's Carbondale store has been in operation since 1992 as an independent Mobile Electronics specialty store. Martin has been a Stereo One employee for about 12 years, serving as general manager for the past eight years.

Stylist completes certification

Rana Stewart Morgan, a stylist at Belladona Salon, Spa and Boutique, is now a Redken certified haircolorist. She recently completed a written and practical exam to demonstrate her knowledge in hair color principles, creative color, foil placement, color correction and the consultation process in order to earn the accreditation. Belladonna is at 201 S. Mount Auburn Road, Suite F in Cape Girardeau.

Daniel joins The Hahs Group in Cape

Jacob Daniel has been appointed a financial representative by Northwestern Mutual in Cape Girardeau. He will be associated with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network The Hahs Group. As financial representative he will offer products in the areas of risk management, education and retirement analysis and long-term, tax-efficient savings strategies. Before joining Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Daniel was general sales manager at Anderson Broadcasting in Cape Girardeau. A native of Advance, Mo., he received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008. He lives in Jackson.
