The Leadership Cape Alumni Association will honor Schnucks manager Dennis Marchi with the 2005 Outstanding Alumni Award. The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Harrison Room in Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Two earn designation in project management

Robinson Construction Co., with headquarters in Perryville, Mo., has announced that construction manager David Monier and project manager Susan Verseman have earned the Project Management Institute's designation of project management professional. To be eligible for the certification, Monier and Verseman had to meet the PMI's education and experience requirements, agree to adhere to a code of professional conduct, and were also required to pass a computer-based examination.

Former Regis stylist joins Eugene's Salon

Kirk Dunnavant has joined Eugene's Salon and Spa at Independence Street and Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau. Dunnavant is a hairdresser specializing in perms, hair coloring and cuts. He previously worked for nearly 12 years at Regis at Westfield West Park.

J.C. Penney Optical names new manager

Mitzi Aufdenberg of Jackson is the new optical manager at J.C. Penney Optical. Aufdenberg has more than 20 years' experience. The optician is Tom Keenan and the optometrist is Dr. Donna Pry.
