Ashton Phillips, Brandon Pederson and Tyler Stevens of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, The Hahs Group, were recently nominated and attended the 231st Fastrack Academy, in Milwaukee, Wis. Fastrack Academy is for representatives who have held a full-time contract for 12 to 59 months. Fastrack Academy is a six-day interactive forum for an elite group of 49 representatives, aimed at inspiring higher production and professional growth. Fastrack began in 1944.
Jan McClanahan of Realty Executives of Cape County was recently presented with the Certified Residential Specialist Woman of the Year award by CRS at the Missouri Association of Realtor's Fall Business Conference on Sept. 15. The award as presented in recognition of her dedication to promoting the CRS at the state and national levels while holding the title of regional vice president for the last two years. Jan attended all CRS meetings, went to the National Convention and participated in Sell-A-Brations. The award has not been presented to anyone since 2005.
Vernon L. Kasten Jr., CEO of Ceramo Company Inc., attended the 2011 Home & Garden Showplace Show held Sept. 25 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, where Ceramo was presented the 2011 Home & Garden Showplace New Vendor of the Year. Modern Woodmen financial representative Joyce Hall of Chaffee, Mo., was recently recognized for her excellence in life insurance sales. The award was presented by regional director Randy Rainwater. Hall wrote over $11,000 in annualized premiums to earn the award.
Thomas M. Meyer of Cape Girardeau has joined the Security Bank & Trust board of directors. Meyer is a second-generation real estate agent with experience in residential real estate, commercial real estate and land development. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and a U.S. Navy Seabee veteran serving overseas during the Vietnam War. Meyer is also a member of the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors and among others.
