Michael Dodd, DO, has joined Saint Francis Healthcare System as a medical partner. Dodd served as a pharmacy and chemotherapy technician at Saint Francis Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

Nicole Chance, MBA, has been appointed as the director of human resources at Saint Francis Medical Center. Chance joined Saint Francis in 2006 as the human-resource manager. Before her time at Saint Francis, she was the employment manager for Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Jessica Cox, MD, MPH, Family Medicine, has joined the medical staff of Southeast Hospital. She is affiliated with Southeast Primary Care. Cox earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

John Dixon

John Dixon has been named risk-management specialist in the Dexter, Missouri, branch office of Progressive Farm Credit Services. Originally from Bloomfield, Missouri, Dixon is a native of Stoddard County, Missouri. Before joining Progressive Farm Credit Services, Dixon served in the U.S. Air Force as a radar technician and worked as an airway transportation specialist for the Federal Aviation Administration.

Booker T. Long of Marston, Missouri, has retired after 16 years at Associated Electric Cooperative's New Madrid power plant. Long began his career at the plant as a general utility worker. He worked in the bunker room, advanced to an auxiliary operator position, then moved into the coal yard, using bulldozers and front-end loaders to move coal. "I have really loved working here," Long said. "The work itself is what I loved best."
