Jackson insurance agent recognized by J.D. Power

Kelly Waller, an American Family Insurance agent in Jackson, has been recognized for customer satisfaction excellence under the J.D. Power and Associates Distinguished Insurance Agency Program. Waller has been an agent for American Family since October 2003. His office is at 2106 E. Jackson Blvd. in Jackson. The service excellence distinction was determined through a two-part evaluation process conducted by J.D. Power and Associates. The first part consists of a customer satisfaction survey, which measures customers' overall experience with their current American Family agent. Agents who meet or surpass the overall national average must then pass an on-site evaluation.

Area woman graduates from truck driving school

Southeast Missouri Truck Driving School has announced that Michele Sedlock of Cape Girardeau graduated from the program with a 95 percent grade average.
